Rachel Norman

Rachel Norman has extensive experience in volunteer management and support coordination, currently serving as a volunteer Secretary for the Derby Parkinson's Branch at Parkinson's UK since June 2021. Prior to this, Rachel held various roles including Branch Chair for the Omega Chatterbox Project and Area Support Coordinator for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Rachel's professional background includes significant positions at The Silverline Helpline, where responsibilities included National Advocacy and Signposting Manager, and at Gateshead College as a Fundraising Officer. Education includes a Master's degree in Psychology from Nottingham Trent University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Durham University, complemented by an Advanced Diploma in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
