Martin Pich

Martin Pich serves as the Trading Division Director and Head of Front Office - Trading at MND a.s. since January 2017, overseeing power and gas trading across multiple countries and optimizing gas storage and FX exposure. Prior to this role, Martin Pich was the Head of Forward Trading Central & South East Europe at Alpiq Energy SE from September 2014 to November 2016, where responsibilities included leading an international team and ensuring budget achievement in several countries. Earlier positions at Alpiq Energy SE and Atel involved leadership in wholesale trading and optimization across Central Europe, as well as trading in various markets including Germany. Martin Pich began a career in the energy sector at Severomoravska energetika, a.s., focusing on power portfolio optimization. Martin Pich holds a Master’s degree in Macroeconomy from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.
