Julia Basten

Julia Basten is a Senior Consultant with MNP’s public sector team, where they assist clients in making informed decisions through program evaluation and data-driven insights. They have experience as a Graduate Policy Consultant for the BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation, and have contributed to research on the impact of Russia's attack on Ukraine on European climate policy. Julia holds a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Governance across Borders from the University of Münster and the University of Twente. Outside of work, Julia engages with the community through volunteering and sailing activities.
