Ira Starr

Ira Starr is the co-founder and Managing Director of Long Point Capital, a position held since 1998. Prior to this, Ira served as a general partner at MLGA and has extensive experience in private equity investments exceeding $600 million and advising on transactions valued over $5 billion. With a background in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and strategy consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton, Ira has held director positions across various organizations. Ira earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Currently, Ira works in the New York City office of Long Point Capital.
