Joe Szabo

Joe Szabo is an experienced equipment engineer currently employed at Mo-Sci since May 2023, specializing in the installation, qualification, and maintenance of glass melting and processing equipment. Previously, Joe served as a senior melting engineer at MO-SCI Corporation from December 1997 to May 2023, where responsibilities included supporting and instructing research technicians on specialty glass melts, assisting the production department, and designing and maintaining electric furnaces. Joe's career began as a safety manager at Vessel Mineral Products in 1997. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, earned between 1992 and 1997.
