Jacob Darlow has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Jacob started their career as a Proficiency Analyst Intern at Fera Science Ltd. in September 2017 and worked there until September 2018. Jacob then joined the University of York as a Student Ambassador for three years, from June 2016 to June 2019. In September 2020, they worked as a Researcher in Onco-Immunology at the University of Bath until January 2021. Jacob then joined General Bioinformatics as a Bioinformatics Consultant in November 2020 and stayed there until June 2022. Currently, they work at MoA Technology, where they started as a Bioinformatician in June 2022 and quickly progressed to the role of Senior Scientist (Bioinformatics) in March 2023.
Jacob Darlow has a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Microbiology with a year in industry from the University of York. Jacob completed this degree between the years 2015 and 2019. In 2019, Jacob enrolled at the University of Bath and pursued a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biosciences with a specialization in Bioinformatics. Jacob completed this program in 2020.
