Bente Skalstad

Bente Skalstad has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bente started their career as an Auditor at PwC, where they gained expertise in financial reconciliations and best practices. Bente then worked as a Controller at Bladcentralen ANS, where they were responsible for investigating variances in the inventory account and leading various analysis groups. Bente later joined Draeger Safety Norge AS as the Financial Manager/Controller and was in charge of financial responsibilities.

After that, Skalstad worked as an Accountant at Interflora Norge, overseeing the accounting and payroll functions and implementing new administrative and financial procedures.

Bente then became the Chief Financial Officer at Christiania Belysning AS, a retail company, and eventually held the same position at CB Nordisk Holding AS, a Nordic retail company. In these roles, they were a member of the management team and oversaw financial operations for the companies.

Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at Møbelringen, a company they joined in 2023.

Bente Skalstad has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Bente also completed a basic course in Psychology at the University of Bergen (UiB) from 1990 to 1991. In 1988, they completed a preparatory course in Philosophy at the University of Oslo (UiO). Additionally, Bente Skalstad participated in the Ruhrgas Exchange Program in International Management at the University of Mannheim.
