James M. Cooksey

President at Moberly Area Community College

James M. Cooksey joined the MACC Board of Trustees in April 2010. He is currently serving as board president. Judge Cooksey is a judge for the 14th Judicial Circuit of the State of Missouri. He is currently chair of the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) and has served on that board since 2017. He is a graduate of William Jewell College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and achieved a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School Of Law. He has served on the following boards: State of Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges (past president), Coates Street Presbyterian Church in Moberly, (Moberly Rotary Club (past president), Randolph County Bar Association (past president), and the Randolph County Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program.
