Jeff Lashley

Dr. Jeff Lashley carries a distinct perspective as the first MACC executive to have also been a student, attending MACC in 1982-83 before transferring to Northeast Missouri University in Kirksville, MO. There he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Arts degree in Counseling. He completed his PhD degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

Dr. Lashley spent ten years in mental health private practice and served as Clinical Director for Preferred Family Health in Kirksville before joining the faculty of MACC in 1996. He was a full-time instructor of psychology for six years, moving into the position of Dean of Academic Affairs in 2002. He became the Vice President for Instruction in 2006, and President in 2013.

He currently serves as a Board member for Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation, the Rollins Street Neighborhood Association, and Preferred Family Healthcare. Dr. Lashley has participated on numerous local and state boards, including the MACC Foundation, Moberly School Board, the United Way, Safe Passage, Missouri Community College Association, and the Missouri Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Dr. Lashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
