Richie Etwaru

Richie Etwaru has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. From 2020 onwards, they have been serving as the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at Mobeus, where they contribute to the company's work in invention, technology, design, and customer engagement. Additionally, they previously held the role of Chairman and Chief Technology Officer at Mobeus from 2020 to 2022, where they were involved in driving the development of innovative technology and the invention of Immersive AI.

Prior to their time at Mobeus, Richie Etwaru was the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Hu-manity.co from 2018 onwards. In this role, they played a crucial part in proposing the 31st Human Right, which focuses on privacy in the digital age and was presented to the United Nations.

Before their roles at Mobeus and Hu-manity.co, Richie Etwaru served as the Global Chief Digital Officer at IQVIA from 2013 to 2018. During their tenure, they contributed to the company's digital transformation strategy and played a role in establishing a strategic partnership with Salesforce.

In addition, Richie Etwaru worked at UBS from 2008 to 2013 as the Director and Head of Innovation, where they contributed to projects utilizing advanced technologies and reimagining the delivery of financial services. Richie also held the position of Vice President of Technology at Barclays from 2003 to 2007, where they made pioneering contributions in areas like XML, data analysis and visualization, and online and mobile banking systems.

Finally, Richie Etwaru began their career at Wells Fargo as the Assistant Vice President of Engineering from 1997 to 2002. In this role, they played a key part in modernizing the bank's technology infrastructure and processes, including the development of the first interface between the mainframe and desktop computing.

Throughout their career, Richie Etwaru has consistently been at the forefront of technological advancements, driving innovation and pushing boundaries in various industries.

Richie Etwaru completed their high school education at President's College from 1986 to 1991, earning a High School Degree with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. Following this, they attended York College of the City University of New York from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology.

In 2005, Richie pursued higher education at the University of Phoenix, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from 2005 to 2007. Richie'sfield of study during this period was Business Administration and Management, General.

Continuing their academic journey, Richie enrolled at the University of Phoenix once again in 2009 and concluded their studies in 2014. Richie achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Organizational Leadership, demonstrating their expertise in this field.
