Lorenzo Davoli has a strong background in strategic marketing and design-driven innovation. Lorenzo has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as the VP of Product at Mobi Systems since 2022. Previously, they worked at Ericsson as a Project lead and Service Designer, where they guided multidisciplinary teams in product and service design and contributed to strategic marketing initiatives. Prior to that, Lorenzo worked at Designit as a Sr. Design Strategist, fostering design-driven innovation. Lorenzo also had experiences at PostNord as a Project Lead, where they worked on a strategic service innovation project, and at Rocky Mountain Institute as a Fellow Analyst, analyzing and visualizing vehicle fleets' data. Lorenzo's journey started at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they worked as a Research Assistant on various projects related to sustainable product-service systems and waste collection analysis. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in product development, service design, and strategic marketing.
Lorenzo Davoli has a diverse education history. Lorenzo began their studies in 2006 at Politecnico di Milano, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Design. In the same year, they also participated in an exchange program at Delft University of Technology, focusing on Industrial and Product Design. After completing their master's degree in 2008, Lorenzo went on to further their education at Umeå University. From 2010 to 2016, they dedicated himself to obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the Umeå Institute of Design in the field of Industrial Design.
