Ashif Samnani

Ashif Samnani is a seasoned cybersecurity expert and leader, currently serving as Principal Cyber Security - National Practice Leader at MOBIA since January 2024. At MOBIA Technology Innovations, Ashif oversees the cyber security managed services and professional services practice, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. With a strong background in security management, Ashif has held previous key positions at Cenovus Energy as Manager of IT Control System Security, Husky Energy as Manager of Information Security, and Gen Re as Global Head of Security Operations. Additionally, Ashif has entrepreneurial experience as Principal Director at YYC Sweet & Spicy. Ashif's educational background includes three Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Pure Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics from the University of Calgary.
