Gregory Harris

Gregory Harris is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as the Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police at Mobile Airport Authority since January 2023. Harris has previously held the position of Chief of Police at several educational institutions, including the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, South Carolina State University, Denmark Technical College, Johnson C. Smith University, and Clemson University, demonstrating a consistent focus on campus safety and security. Additionally, Harris served as a Special Agent/Narcotics Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation from 1988 to 1992. Educated with a Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Saint Leo University, Harris brings a strong academic background to a distinguished career in public safety and law enforcement.
