Lauren Yergeau has an extensive work experience that spans from 2007 to 2016. In 2007, they were a Staff Writer for EM Magazine, where they wrote an 800-word column and hosted a video for the magazine's website. In 2008, they were an Intern for Demand Media, where they researched and copyedited articles for Cracked.com, re-wrote published articles, and created quick guides for eHow. Lauren was also a Logistics Coordinator for Emerson College Alternative Spring Break and a Freelance Writer for Demand Studios, where they wrote over 50 how-to articles. In 2009, they were an AmeriCorps*VISTA at Community Corrections Improvement Association, where they designed, launched, and maintained websites for the VISTA Flood Recovery program and Cedar Rapids Neighborhood Association. Lauren also established and regularly updated a blog for the VISTA Flood Recovery. In 2010, they were a Social Media/Content Manager for Antelope Networks, where they started a social media department for a web design firm and researched and wrote monthly e-newsletters and blogs. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Marketing Manager for YWCA Hartford Region, where they developed and implemented an overall agency marketing strategic plan. During this time, they also expanded the agency's social media platforms to include Instagram and Pinterest. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been a Marketing & Communications Manager for Mobile Beacon, where they create and executes short and long-term marketing, communication, and social media plans, and maintains all brand guidelines.

Lauren Yergeau attended Emerson College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Print and Multimedia Journalism, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
