Waheed Adam

Waheed Adam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various high-level roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Global Board Director and Vice-Chairperson of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, Waheed also holds the position of Executive Chairperson at iTouch Messaging Services and Executive Director at MVNOworx, focusing on enabling mobile virtual network operators across Africa. As Group Chief Executive of Prime Group since 1988, Waheed has led diverse companies under this umbrella. Other notable roles include serving as Past President of the Entrepreneurs' Organization in Cape Town and current member of the Global Growth Portfolio, as well as being a Trustee for the iTouch Foundation, which aims to enhance living standards in Africa. Waheed also contributes as a Board Advisor for Bounce Beyond and serves as Executive Director of BEE Mobile (PTY) Ltd, aimed at improving governmental connectivity through innovative solutions.
