Teddy Florea has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Teddy is currently the Founder of EcoManka, an organization that focuses on youth environmental education through gamified journeys and the creation of eco-educational local tourism initiatives. Teddy is also the Head Advisor - Gaming at the Mobile Growth Association, where they support the strategic development of the video gaming industry and organizes conferences and events for game industry professionals. Additionally, they are the Founder of Soul Dreamers, a conscious regenerative tourism network that supports local eco-communities and their nature-based retreats.
Previously, Teddy worked as an Advisor at Pingle Studio, where they built the company's international marketing and sales strategy and collaborated with top game developers and publishers. Teddy also held the position of Director of Business Development at Nordic Game Resources AB, where they strategically planned services and connected international business to the Nordic game industry. Furthermore, Teddy has served as an Advisor at the Global Mobile Game Confederation [GMGC] and worked as a Senior Business Development Officer and Sales Executive at Steel Media.
Earlier in their career, Teddy was a Research Associate at the Initiative for Regulatory Innovation - Central European University and a Researcher at the Centre for Ethics and Law in Biomedicine.
Teddy Florea attended the University of St Andrews from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in MA International Relations and French, with a focus on Political Science. Teddy then pursued further education at Utrecht University from 2003 to 2005, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International and European Legal Studies. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, Teddy attended Central European University, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy - MPhil in Political Science and Public Policy.
