Garreth Eyssen has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Garreth currently serves as a Technical Support Team Lead at Mobile Guardian since November 2021. In this role, they support schools, teachers, and parents in managing their mobile devices using the Mobile Guardian App. Additionally, they maintain the help desk and knowledge articles, supports the Product Team with new how-to and tutorial materials, and performs software test activities.

Prior to their current position, Garreth worked at Telkom for several years. From 2014 to 2020, they served as a Social Media Consultant, providing assistance to Telkom clients through various social media platforms. Before that, they held various roles within the Offline Support and Operations departments at Telkom, where they handled escalations from high-value clients, supervised Pinnacle escalations, and provided support for ISP, broadband technical support, and multimedia channels.

Garreth Eyssen has a diversified education history with a focus on digital marketing and IT networking. In 2003, they attended Varsity College where they obtained a Diploma in IT Networking, which they completed in 2004. More recently, in 2017 and 2018, Garreth enrolled in GetSmarter courses, specializing in Social Media and Digital Marketing respectively. Additionally, Garreth obtained the "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" certification from the Google Digital Skills For Africa program in July 2020.
