Sayanta Basu

Sayanta Basu has a long and varied work experience. In 2016, they founded and became CEO of Agrud Technologies, an AI tech startup with focus on serving the Mass Affluent. In 2011, they founded and became CEO of Agrud Advisors Pte, a Multi-Family Office based out of Singapore with offices in UK and North America offering Global Investment Strategy and Corporate Strategy. Sayanta also served as a seed investor for Mobilewalla and Zibanka Media Services Pvt. Ltd. and as an Exco Member and Treasurer for the Pan IIM Alumni Association. In addition, they have held adjunct professor positions at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and SMU - Singapore Management University. Sayanta has also served as President of IIT Alumni Association Singapore and as a shareholder and director of LKP FINANCE LTD, where they were involved in restructuring the business.

Sayanta Basu completed a PGDM in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore between 1988 and 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a B. Tech in Electronics Engg from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur between 1984 and 1988.
