Amir Segal - עמיר סגל

Amir Segal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in backend and physical design engineering, currently serving as the Backend / Physical Design Director and LiDAR BE Chip Lead at Mobileye since April 2022, where Amir focuses on creating next-generation RADAR and LiDAR systems for autonomous driving. Prior to this role, Amir held various positions at Intel Corporation from 2011 to 2022, including Backend / Physical Design Group Lead and Physical Design Manager, contributing to the development of advanced RADAR and LiDAR chips as well as high-speed Ethernet controllers. Amir began their career in the IT field and transitioned into physical design roles, gaining expertise at companies like Broadlight, GigOptix, and ChipX. Amir holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
