Miriam Fico

Miriam Fico has over a decade of experience in research and development roles in the analytical instrumentation industry. Miriam started their career as a Research Scientist at FLIR Systems in 2008 and later joined Smiths Detection, where they held positions as a Staff Scientist and Principal Scientist. In these roles, they led development projects for government programs and collaborated with internal and external teams to ensure project success. In 2021, they joined MOBILion Systems, Inc. as an R&D Manager, overseeing tactical R&D initiatives and providing technical oversight for product development activities. Miriam was recently promoted to Director of Research and Development, where they manage projects and personnel to support MOBILion Systems' product development and research initiatives.

Miriam Fico obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from William & Mary in 2003. Miriam later acquired a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University in 2008.
