Khalifa Alshamsi

Khalifa AlShamsi currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of e& life, a position held since February 2022. With extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, Khalifa has been a Member of the Board of Directors for Mobily and Ufone since April 2015 and March 2016, respectively, and has also held a similar role at PTCL since March 2016. Additionally, Khalifa is a Board Member at Etisalat Afghanistan and has chaired various organizations, including eVision and Etisalat Technology Services. Khalifa is involved with GSMA as a member of the Strategy Committee and serves as the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the UAE International Investors Council. Prior to current roles, Khalifa had a long tenure at Etisalat, where several high-level positions were held, including Group Chief Strategy & Corporate Governance Officer. Khalifa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky from 1988 to 1993.
