Marco Biedermann

Marco Biedermann has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Marco currently works at Mobimeo as a Senior Software Engineer, where they primarily work with TypeScript, Node.js, and React to solve problems in the ticketing, tariffication, and public-transport domain. Marco is responsible for automated deployment using GitHub Actions CI and hosting on AWS infrastructure using Kubernetes. Marco is an active member of the Node.js and Web chapter at Mobimeo, where they help establish company-wide standards and explore new best practices. In addition, they build and maintains three microservices.

Before joining Mobimeo, Marco worked at Klarna as a Software Engineer in the AI Web Automation & Tools team. Their responsibilities included web data gathering and validation through motivated and trained outsourcing operations. Marco also participated in the development of in-house built intuitive tools with smart features to assist manual work.

Prior to Klarna, Marco was employed at moovel Group as a Full Stack Engineer. Marco worked on various projects, such as developing and scaling the Mobility Benefits microservice architecture to increase the GMV of the moovel mobile app. Marco also built a self-service dashboard to onboard and integrate new Mobility Service Providers via Deep linking. Marco also developed the Stadtmobil Adapter Proxy to integrate Deeplinking of Mobility Service Providers in the moovel mobile app.

Marco started their career as a Back End Developer at ECONSOR and later worked as a Frontend Developer at FIXTREME and FIXTREME GmbH. Marco also had a role as a Video Editor at Los Banditos Films GmbH.

Marco Biedermann has a diverse education history. Marco attended Johannes-Gutenberg-Schule Stuttgart from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Media Design with a focus on Information Technology. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2012, Marco attended Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium and completed their Abitur.

In addition to their formal education, Marco has acquired various certifications to enhance their skills. In 2016, they obtained certifications in Back End and Data Visualization from freeCodeCamp. In 2015, they obtained certifications in Front End and Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp. Marco also obtained several certifications from MongoDB, including M102: MongoDB for DBAs in 2016, M101P: MongoDB for Developers in 2016, and M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers in 2015.

More recently, Marco has pursued additional certifications in various topics related to technology and programming. Marco obtained certifications from Udemy in Microfrontends with React: A Complete Developer's Guide (2021), React, React Redux and Redux Saga - Master React State/Hooks (2021), and Learn the Newest and EASIEST React Native Stack (2021). Marco also obtained certifications in Advanced Node.js from LinkedIn in 2020, and Learning Algorithms in JavaScript from Scratch from Udemy in 2020. Marco's most recent certifications include Testing JavaScript from Kent C. Dodds Tech LLC in 2021 and Advent of Cyber 2021 from TryHackMe in 2021.
