Rúben Martins Ferreira has held various roles in multiple companies throughout their career. Rúben began their career at Deloitte in 2014 as a Consultant in Finance & Accounting, where they provided support to various clients across different industries, including technology, media, telecommunications, construction, real estate, and utilities. Their responsibilities included reviewing accounting procedures, fulfilling tax duties, and preparing financial statements and management reports.

In 2016, Ferreira joined Mazars as an Auditor, working on projects with multinational and public-private partnership clients. Their tasks included examining company accounts and financial control systems, testing documentation supporting account balances, and conducting IT audits and controls.

In 2017, Ferreira joined Mobipium as an Accounting Manager, where they led, managed, and monitored accounting functions for the Mobipium Group. Their responsibilities included overseeing daily operations, analyzing accounting data, coordinating annual audits, and improving accounting methods and policies. In 2019, they were promoted to CFO, taking on additional leadership, planning, and implementation responsibilities for all finance activities of the Mobipium Group companies.

Rúben Martins Ferreira has a diverse education history that spans several years. Rúben began their educational journey in 2011 when they enrolled at ISCAL-Lisbon Accounting and Business School. There, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance, which they successfully completed in 2014.

Following their undergraduate studies, Rúben furthered their education by attending INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education in 2015 and 2016. During this time, they obtained an Executive Master's degree in Corporate Finance, enhancing their knowledge in this specialization.

Rúben continued their academic pursuit at ISCTE Business School from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Master's degree in Finance. This educational experience provided him with a deeper understanding of financial concepts and practices.

In 2021, Rúben enrolled in INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education once again, this time to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Management, which they are expected to complete in 2022. This program likely focuses on developing practical skills and strategies for effective management.

Rúben's commitment to learning and professional development is further demonstrated by the additional certifications they have obtained. In 2018, they obtained Teaching Aptitude Certificates (CCP / CAP) from IEFP, which showcase their aptitude for teaching. In 2020, Rúben completed the certification program on Performance Assessment & Management Control offered by Porto Business School. Furthermore, they gained expertise in managerial accounting through the completion of a certification program titled "Managerial Accounting: Tools for Facilitating and Guiding Business Decisions" from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the same year. Most recently, in 2022, Rúben obtained a certification in "Decision-Making and Scenarios" from the University of Pennsylvania.
