Atanas Atanasov

Atanas Atanasov is an accomplished academic and software developer with extensive experience in linguistics and computational linguistics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski since 2002, Atanasov also holds a position as a Lecturer in Python Advanced and Object-Oriented Programming at Software University (SoftUni) since 2023. In addition, Atanasov has been involved with MobiSystems, Inc. as a Dictionaries Developer and Software Developer since October 2008. Atanasov earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics with a focus on the Bulgarian language and computational linguistics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 2002 and 2006.
