Dilum Maddumage is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network strategy, technology implementation, and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Principal Engineer - Network Strategy & New Technologies at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd since March 2024, Dilum focuses on enhancing network performance. Previously, Dilum held the position of Service Engineer at BICS from July 2022 to January 2024, where responsibilities included troubleshooting, mentoring junior engineers, and managing critical customer incidents. Dilum’s career at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd began in November 2011, progressing from Assistant Manager to Manager of the International Technical Unit, overseeing international network operations and driving efficiencies. Educational qualifications include an MBA specializing in Management of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, both from the University of Moratuwa.
