Vijay Kumar Sabbu

Vijay Kumar Sabbu has a diverse range of professional experience spanning from 2007 to 2023. Vijay began their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Programmer Analyst, where they gained experience in technologies such as Struts and Spring 3. In 2009, they joined IVY Comptech as a Software Engineer, where they developed a promotions admin tool and worked on the Promotions/Bonus team. Vijay then progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer, where they enhanced the Promotions Admin Tool and built a new promotions page for players. At IVY Comptech, they also played a key role in designing and developing a CI/CD framework.

In 2013, Vijay moved on to Xenovus, Inc. as a Software Architect, where they led a team and designed and developed an enterprise communication app. Vijay also built a content recommendation system and added support for desktop users. Additionally, they converted an existing iOS app into a React Native app.

In 2018, Vijay joined Backflipt as an Engineering Manager and later became the Associate VP of Engineering. Vijay was responsible for conceptualizing, architecting, and designing a no-code/low-code platform with iPaaS, workflows, and app builder components. Vijay also built plugins for MS Outlook and Gmail and developed document search and suggestion features.

Currently, Vijay serves as the VP of Engineering at Gaian Solutions, starting in 2023.

Vijay Kumar Sabbu completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Vikas Junior College from 2001 to 2003 and completed their Intermediate education. Vijay completed their SSC from Ramanujan High School in 2001 to 2000.
