Yury Antonov

Yury Antonov has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Yury started their career at Methodical Engineering Ltd. in 2006, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer until 2009. During this time, they gained experience in designing and developing systems and mechanisms for various parts of a tank.

In 2006, Yury Antonov also joined the Israel Defense Forces as a Mechanical Engineering officer in the Turret Systems Department. In this role, they were responsible for defining requirements, designing and producing models, and maintaining experimental setups for Merkava tanks.

In 2009, Yury Antonov moved to Mobius Protection systems, where they initially worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer until 2015. Yury then advanced to the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer until 2020, and ultimately became the Director of Engineering in January 2020. Yury'srole at Mobius Protection systems involved leading engineering teams and overseeing mechanical design projects.

In 2016, Yury Antonov co-founded Trigger VR, an entertainment room for VR gaming experiences. As a Co-Owner, they were responsible for business development, IT and technician officer tasks, team management, and recruitment. Yury held this role until August 2017.

Yury Antonov completed their BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued vocational education in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at ORT Colleges from 2004 to 2006. Yury also attended MEC Methodical Engineering for a brief period in 2007. Yury Antonov completed their high school education at ALEH High School in Hertzliya from 2001 to 2004.
