Gary Tommeraasen

Gary Tommeraasen is a highly experienced EMR Clinical IT Specialist and Paramedic, currently serving at Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics since December 2012, where notable contributions include QA/QI program redesign and the development of EMS orientation. Additional paramedic experience includes roles at Dell Rapids Ambulance, Carrington Medical Center, and Cherokee Regional Hospital, where Gary has consistently delivered advanced life support care and conducted training in ACLS and other emergency medical procedures. Leadership experience includes serving as District VII President for the South Dakota EMS Association and holding the position of Captain at Baltic Fire Department. Gary also has military experience as an MLRS Crewmember in the Army National Guard, contributing to security and operational tasks during deployment. Educational background includes completing a Paramedic degree from Avera McKennan School of EMS and studies at South Dakota State University and Dakota State University.
