Tom Hopkins is the current Business Development Manager at Mobro Marine. Prior to this, they held various positions in Business Development and Special Projects for companies such as Rasmussen Equipment Company, Manson Construction Co., and Seaward Marine Corporation. Tom has also been the Director of US Operations for PVE Cranes & Services, Ltd.
Tom has over 30 years of experience in the heavy marine construction industry and has used their expertise to help expand the product lines and services of the companies they have worked for. Tom is knowledgeable in a wide range of products and services, including but not limited to: portable barges, spuds and spudwells, crane ramps, hydraulic barge pushers, cleats, mooring gear, winches, fairleads, deckleads, guide sheaves, anchors, chain, marine fenders, mooring buoys, wire rope, rigging hardware, slings, blocks, etc.
Tom is a dedicated worker with a passion for helping their company succeed. Tom is always looking for new ways to grow and improve the businesses they are a part of and takes great pride in their work.
Tom Hopkins attended Syracuse University and the State University of New York College at Cortland. Tom is a commercial air, mixed gas, and saturation diving instructor who has been teaching diving since 1984.
Tom Hopkins reports to John Rowland, President. They are on a team with Marc Wooten - General Superintendent, Special Projects, Billy Harper - Jacksonville Branch Manager, Parts, and Neil Corrado - Sales Manager.
