Dr Andrea Caio

Dr. Andrea Caio is a seasoned professional in the field of offshore renewable energy with extensive experience in business development, research, and mentorship. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Mocean Energy since July 2018, Andrea previously held the role of Research Engineer as part of the IDCORE doctoral program. Successfully completing a four-year Engineering Doctorate at the University of Edinburgh, Andrea has also contributed as a Research Fellow at POST, UK Parliament, where a policy brief on Sustainable Cooling was produced. Volunteer work as a Peer Mentor at Rock Trust and as an EU Symposium Co-Organiser for INORE highlights Andrea's commitment to supporting at-risk youth and fostering collaboration in the renewable energy sector. With a background in mechanical design from Sagentia and a solid academic foundation from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, Andrea brings a unique blend of engineering expertise and teaching experience.
