Brandi Fischer is an experienced professional in advocacy and support for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Advocacy and Title IX Advocate at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) since February 2016, Brandi provides critical support to survivors. Prior to this role, Brandi worked as a Pricing Coordinator at Price Chopper Supermarkets - Market 32 from June 2004 to February 2016, where responsibilities included managing cash transactions and effectively communicating with customers. Additionally, Brandi served as a Court Advocate at Hope House from January 2012 to April 2015, where engagement with victims of domestic violence and collaboration with local law enforcement were key duties. Brandi holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Central Missouri.

MOCSA’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. Together we can create a community free from sexual assault and abuse. Our services are free of charge and available to survivors and their families in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We offer the following services: - 24-hour Crisis Services: 816-531-0233 & 913-642-0233 - Advocacy: hospital, legal, police, and court advocacy; support groups - Counseling: individual and group therapy - Education: age-appropriate programs for children in elementary, middle, and high schools; training for advocates, counselors, law enforcement, restaurant and bar staff, and other professionals - Prevention: supporting community based coalitions in both Missouri and Kansas to prevent sexual assault and other forms of violence
