Juliann Emmett is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Accounting Manager at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) since March 2018, overseeing the grants accounting department. Previously, Juliann held the position of CFO at a Printing and Packaging company from March 2009 to June 2017, where organizational support was provided to the management team, and business relations with clients and vendors were managed effectively. Juliann began a career in finance at Zions Bank, starting as a teller and advancing to a Private Banking Associate from August 1992 to March 1998. Juliann has completed education at Portland Community College and Dixie State University.

MOCSA’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. Together we can create a community free from sexual assault and abuse. Our services are free of charge and available to survivors and their families in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We offer the following services: - 24-hour Crisis Services: 816-531-0233 & 913-642-0233 - Advocacy: hospital, legal, police, and court advocacy; support groups - Counseling: individual and group therapy - Education: age-appropriate programs for children in elementary, middle, and high schools; training for advocates, counselors, law enforcement, restaurant and bar staff, and other professionals - Prevention: supporting community based coalitions in both Missouri and Kansas to prevent sexual assault and other forms of violence
