Lane Hensley is an experienced professional in the field of social work, currently serving as an Intake Specialist at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) since March 2022. Prior to this role, Lane worked as a Case Manager and Shelter Advocate at Safehome from January 2020 to March 2022, and also gained experience in case management within the PACES program at Wyandot Behavioral Health Network from August 2020 to May 2021. Lane's early career includes serving as a Direct Support Professional at Lakemary Center from August 2016 to January 2020. Lane earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Park University, completing studies between 2015 and 2021.

MOCSA’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. Together we can create a community free from sexual assault and abuse. Our services are free of charge and available to survivors and their families in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We offer the following services: - 24-hour Crisis Services: 816-531-0233 & 913-642-0233 - Advocacy: hospital, legal, police, and court advocacy; support groups - Counseling: individual and group therapy - Education: age-appropriate programs for children in elementary, middle, and high schools; training for advocates, counselors, law enforcement, restaurant and bar staff, and other professionals - Prevention: supporting community based coalitions in both Missouri and Kansas to prevent sexual assault and other forms of violence
