Joel Mertz

Joel Mertz is an experienced Lead UX Designer currently at Moda Health since October 2019, where responsibilities include enhancing the company brand through the design of digital experiences that meet customer and business needs. Prior to Moda Health, Joel served as Lead UX Designer at Jaguar Land Rover North America from September 2014 to October 2019, overseeing cross-functional teams in the development of innovative digital experiences and infotainment features. Joel’s career also includes positions as Senior Multimedia Designer at HMS and Steelman Partners, where emphasis was placed on creating communication materials and animations. Beginning as a Multimedia Designer at Magaurn Video Media, Joel produced marketing videos and introduced web development services. Joel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of Oregon.
