Derrick Amenuve has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they gained experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at the Electricity Company of Ghana Limited. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Sunyani Technical University. In 2018, they worked independently as a Designer. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a UI/UX Designer at Afiewura Housing Limited, conceptualizing and designing a mobile application for rent finance. In 2020, they became a Product Designer at KauriAfrica, where they led the execution and design of TailorsNote, a platform for fashion designers. In 2021, they worked as a User Experience Designer at AFRIKREA, designing products to improve the experience for sellers and visitors on the e-commerce marketplace. In 2022, they joined marble.so as a Product Designer, leading a team to build and launch user onboarding software. In 2023, they took on roles as a Product Developer at Modatongue, designing and building the platform, and as a User Experience Designer at StellarUp.

Derrick Amenuve obtained a Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Takoradi Technical University between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Mawuli School from 2010 to 2013, obtaining a High School Diploma in General Science. Currently, Derrick is pursuing a User Experience Guide certification in Human Computer Interaction at The Interaction Design Foundation, starting in 2021.
