Aaron Townsend

Aaron Townsend is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance and mergers & acquisitions. Currently serving as the M&A Lead at Modaxo since May 2025, Aaron has a proven track record in managing M&A activities across various sectors. Prior roles include M&A Director at BP3 Global, where Aaron managed all M&A for the PE-backed IT Services company, and Head of FP&A and Corporate Finance at Zego, leading a team in financial planning, fundraising, and strategic initiatives. As a co-founder of New Gen Accountants, Aaron contributed to building a supportive community for aspiring accountants. Earlier experiences include leadership positions at Habito and The Design Museum, as well as a role as Finance Manager at Albion Capital Group LLP. Aaron holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and a B.Sc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Manchester.
