Jeff Miller

Jeff Miller has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jeff started their career as a Summer Student at the City of Brandon in 2003. Jeff then worked as a Wireless Technician at RFNOW Inc., where they conducted wireless internet installs and provided troubleshooting and support. Jeff later joined Safeway Canada as a Field Specialist, where they worked from October 2004 to April 2005.

In 2005, they became a Contractor at Eagle Professional Resources, a role they held until January 2010. After that, Jeff joined the River East Transcona School Division as a Computer Support Technician/Systems Administrator. In this position, they provided computer support for the entire division and managed server administration tasks using Windows 2003/2008, Altiris deployment, and MS system center.

From 2010 to 2013, Jeff worked at HyLife as a Systems Administrator, responsible for managing enterprise production system integration. Jeff also worked as a Software Developer during this time, specializing in .NET C# WPF, MVVM, Agile, TeamCity, JIRA, and desktop and handheld applications. Jeff was involved in iPhone mobile app development and web development using AngularJS, Python, and Google app engine.

In 2015, Jeff joined Rimmer Technology Partners as a Senior Software Developer and later became a Solutions Architect. As a Solutions Architect, they designed and built software solutions that met client needs. Jeff gained extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Serverless app development, App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Datastore, Pub/Sub messaging, Big Query, and Firebase.

Most recently, Jeff has been working at mode40 as a Solutions Architect from 2023 onwards.

Jeff Miller attended Assiniboine Community College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a Computer Systems Technology Diploma. Jeff'sfield of study focused on Computer Systems.
