Hendrik Barnard

Hendrik Barnard currently serves as Chief Reliability Officer (CRO) at MODEC, Inc. since June 2016. Prior to this role, Hendrik was the Lead CRO at Swift (Chevron) from June 2013 to June 2016, where responsibilities included mentoring Brazilian Nationals on FPSO Frade. Hendrik's earlier experience includes positions at SBM Atlantia as a Control Room Operator from March 2006 to June 2013, overseeing production technology and control room operations on FPSO Mondo and FPSO Frade. Hendrik's career began as a Process Artisan and Wells Operator at Sasol Petrolim Temane from February 2005 to February 2007 and as a Process Artisan and Control Room Operator at Sasol Polymers-VCM from September 1998 to January 2005, where duties encompassed various aspects of plant operations. Hendrik holds an N3 degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sasolburg Tech and Sasolburg Technical College, completed in 1989.
