Amanda Forbes Silva

Amanda Forbes Silva is an accomplished educator, writer, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the fields of writing and education. As the Owner & Founder of Waypoint Writing since October 2017, Amanda has demonstrated a commitment to fostering effective communication and creativity. Additionally, Amanda has served as a Model Actress and Managing Director for Model Club Inc since March 2016. Prior experience includes roles such as Instructor and Editor at the New Hampshire Writers' Project and Adjunct Professor at Nashua Community College, where Amanda designed and taught coursework for diverse student populations. With a solid foundation in education, Amanda has held various teaching positions within the Nashua School District, focusing on gifted education and curriculum development for elementary and adult learners. Amanda holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, an MA in Creative Writing from Dartmouth College, and a BA in International Studies/Political Science from the University of South Carolina.
