Armen Vidian is a Board Observer at Model Medicines. Armen has also served on the boards of Proprio Vision, Cofactor Genomics, Strateos, and Vium. Armen has been Chairman of the Board at 3Scan.
Armen’s experience in the medical field spans over two decades. Armen began their career as a surgical resident at Stanford University Medical Center. Armen then went on to complete a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. After completing their training, Armen became an attending surgeon at UCSF.
In 2006, Armen co-founded CPMC Surgical Associates, a private practice in San Francisco specializing in cardiothoracic surgery. Armen served as the Medical Director of the practice from 2006 to 2014. In 2014, Armen transitioned out of clinical practice to focus on healthcare investments and advising companies in the digital health space.
Armen has been an active angel investor and advisor in the digital health space since 2010. Armen has made over 35 investments in companies developing technologies across the healthcare continuum including therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, and healthcare services.
Armen Vidian completed a Master of Science in Management Science at Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mechanical Engineering with a minor in French from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
