Brian McCoy

Brian McCoy has over 11 years of professional experience in the software and IT industry. Brian began their career in 2009 as a Freight Delivery employee at Virginia Military Institute. In 2010, they joined the United States Air Force as a Cyber Transport Technician. During their 5 year tenure at the National Security Agency, they worked as an IT Technician and specialized in outage resolution, user education, and security focus. In 2018, they joined COMMFUSION INC as a System Administrator and managed 45 maintenance clients, 650+ computers and servers. In 2017, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Midnight Storm Studios, a small business dedicated to software development and troubleshooting outages. Brian currently works as a Software Developer at Modelithics, Inc. since 2021.

Brian McCoy completed an Associate's degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2014 to 2016. Brian then attended Pasco-Hernando State College from 2016 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Science. In 2018, they began attending Liberty University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology in Information Technology. In 2011, they obtained a COMPTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
