Pieter Dermont

Pieter Dermont's work experience spans from 2010 to present. Pieter is currently employed by Modelon as the Senior Director of Business Development, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, Pieter worked as the Director of Business Development at Modelon from October 2017 to March 2022. Before joining Modelon, they worked at Amazon as an Operations Program Manager from November 2016 to September 2017. Pieter also has experience at Modelon as a Project Manager from September 2015 to October 2016, and as a Consultant and Simulation Engineer from May 2014 to August 2015. Pieter then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, Pieter also briefly studied Future Energy Systems at Aalborg University and Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Copenhagen Business School. Finally, in 2012, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL. Pieter Dermont has obtained various certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), Certified Associate in Project Management, and others from reputable institutions such as Scrum.org and the Project Management Institute.
