Jessica Amato

Jessica Amato is the current Head of People at Modern Age. Jessica has over ten years of experience in Human Resources and analytics. Jessica started their career as a Recruiting Coordinator with Amazon in December 2012. In this role, they worked closely with a team of recruiters to find and hire top talent for Amazon's new business venture, Amazon Local. Jessica was responsible for managing recruiting activities, building candidate relationships, and coordinating phone and in-person interviews with clients. In March 2021, Jessica was promoted to Head of People at Modern Age.

Prior to their career in Human Resources, Jessica worked in politics. Jessica was the Finance Director for Rob McKenna's gubernatorial campaign from June 2011 to November 2012. Jessica also worked as a Political Scheduler/Campaign Administrator for Friends of Rob McKenna from January 2009 to May 2011.

Jessica Amato has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honors) from the University of Washington. Jessica also has a Spanish degree from Instituto Cultural Oaxaca.

They work with Tiffany Lin - VP of Marketing, Shara Birn - Chief Growth Officer, and Sara Livengood - Head of Product. Jessica Amato reports to Melissa Eamer, CEO.
