Debra Zernis

Debra Zernis has extensive experience in bookkeeping, customer service, and administrative roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Bookkeeper and Customer Service Representative at Modern Builders Supply since April 2006, Debra manages accounts receivable and payable, prepares month-end reports, and maintains strong relationships with contractors while possessing knowledge of the residential building industry. As Secretary/Treasurer for Paul Zernis General Contracting, responsibilities include overseeing blueprints, tracking job costs, and managing contracts. Previous experience includes an Administrative Assistant role to the Senior Pastor at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, where project oversight and regulatory compliance were key tasks, as well as a Bookkeeper and design coordinator position at Dale Yost Construction Co. Debra holds a high school diploma with a focus on bookkeeping and business administration from Elyria High School.
