Deb Barnum

Deb Barnum is a dedicated education professional with a diverse background in curriculum development, project management, and teacher training. Currently serving as a Math Curriculum Content Developer at Modern Classrooms Project, Deb specializes in creating math materials for grades 6-8. With extensive experience as a Senior Project Director at Insight By Design, focus emphasizes the analysis and visualization of quantitative survey data, alongside supporting qualitative studies. Prior roles include Professional Learning Specialist at Amplify, facilitating professional development for educators, and serving as a Fellow at Math for America, where Deb also contributed as a Master Teacher. A former Middle School Math Teacher within the NYC Department of Education, Deb has significant experience in curriculum planning and classroom instruction.
