M.J. M.

M.J. M. has been working in the engineering and innovation fields since 2013. In 2013, they began their career as an Optics Research Assistant at Campbell's Lab, followed by a Researcher, Membrane Technology Development at Imtex Membranes. In 2015, they held two co-op positions, as a Technical Support Engineer at ANSYS, Inc. and as a Technology Development Co-op at Hatch. In 2016, they joined Hatch as an Innovation Portfolio Analyst, where they created and implemented new governance and associated systems to facilitate innovation and commercialization. They also developed relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success and improved budget compliance from 30% to 95%. In 2021, they became a Mechanical Engineer at Modern Electron.

M.J. M. obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2016. Additionally, M.J. M. holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from the Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence (AIGPE) which was obtained in April 2021.
