Mothusi Pahl

Mothusi is the VP of Business Development and is responsible for Marketing, Product Management, and Governmental Relations at Modern Electron. The former Chief Commercial Officer at private equity firm B3Bar, Mothusi cofounded a data contextualization startup and has led early-stage Business Development and Go-to-Market in and around Energy, Power Generation, WHR, Utilities, and Industrial Operations. Mothusi formerly worked at Cummins Inc (NYSE: CMI) as part of the Strategy and Business Development team and later as the executive in charge of the company’s Power Generation division for commercial and industrial customers in 11 countries in southern Africa.

Mothusi is also a former whitewater river guide in the Grand Canyon. He has studied economics, math, and Chinese at Beijing University and UC Santa Cruz. He holds an MBA from Yale University where he was recognized as a Kauffman-Jewett scholar with multiple distinctions including Environmental & Land Use Law.
