Tamer Hassan has a solid work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Tamer started their career in 2004 as an Operations Manager at Al Manara Pharmacy, where they successfully managed daily activities, supply chain, stock management, and marketing activities. Tamer also played a key role in maximizing profitability and supporting new product launches. In 2012, they joined Modern Pharmaceutical LLC as a Logistics Manager, overseeing logistics and warehousing activities for multiple warehouses. Tamer managed multi-billion Dirham businesses and provided leadership support in implementing quality assurance standards. Recently, Tamer has been promoted to the role of Head of Logistics at Modern Pharmaceutical LLC.
Tamer Hassan earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, which they attended from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their MBA from the University of Atlanta, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Tamer also completed their undergraduate studies at Alexandria University, receiving a B.Sc.Pharma degree from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they hold certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from IASSC, obtained in August 2018, and as an Internal Auditor from LRQA.
