Dan Carter

Dan Carter is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in production and management within the film industry. As the Owner of DC Post LLC since September 2017, Dan has also worked as a Freelance Post Producer since August 2017 and holds the title of Producer and Head of Production at Modern Post since November 2014. Past experience includes serving as a Production Manager/Coordinator for Freelance Production Coordinator/Mgr from October 2008 to February 2015, where Dan was responsible for hiring and managing crews, securing equipment, and overseeing budgets. Dan's career began as a Production Assistant between August 2005 and August 2008, and transitioned to a Production Manager role at Ornelas & Partners from January 2003 to August 2005, managing workflows and client relationships for notable brands. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin.
