William Sodd is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and product engineering. Currently serving as Systems Group Manager and Project Manager at Modern Process Equipment Corporation since December 2016, William is responsible for budget, schedule, and technical aspects of PLC-automated process systems, along with managing project commissioning and site acceptance testing. Prior roles include Product Engineer at the same company, where William managed projects for the tubular drag conveyor product line and designed new components using Solidworks and AutoCAD. Earlier experiences include internships and co-op positions at International Paper and Emerson Climate Technologies, where William focused on improving plant efficiency, supporting Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and engaging in product development for variable speed compressors. William holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering at Purdue University.
